We’re Hiring: Health Educator for Primary Health Centers and Clinics
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Health Educator, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient care through education and support in primary health centers, clinics, and hospitals. As a dedicated health professional, you’ll work closely with patients to manage their health conditions effectively. This role involves direct patient interactions both in-person and via phone, aiming to build strong relationships and assist patients in navigating their healthcare journey. You’ll coordinate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient education and care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Educational Outreach: Conduct regular educational sessions and workshops in clinics to inform patients about disease prevention, management, and the importance of regular screening and diagnostics.
- Physician Collaboration: Engage with physicians and clinic staff to integrate educational programs that complement clinical care, enhancing the value provided to both patients and healthcare providers.
- Patient Interaction: Provide continuous education on condition management, medication adherence, and effective self-care practices.
- Support and Guidance: Address individual patient needs, assisting them through their healthcare journey, from initial diagnosis through ongoing treatment.
- Administrative Support: Manage data entry, patient records, and consent forms, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws.
- Reporting and Communication: Keep healthcare providers updated about patient progress and any issues that arise, ensuring a coordinated approach to patient care.
- Professional Development: Train and support other healthcare professionals in delivering patient education and using educational tools and resources effectively.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related medical field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in health education or a similar role. Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is essential.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in using healthcare technology, and a proactive approach to patient education.
- Other: Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
