Job Description

The General Practitioner with aesthetic focus will provide on-site clinical care and aesthetic treatments at Glow Aesthetic, Medical & Dermatology Clinic in Sharjah. This full-time role includes conducting patient consultations, taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and diagnosing common medical and dermatological conditions. The practitioner will design and provide non-surgical aesthetic treatments, such as laser therapies, anti-ageing procedures, and skin rejuvenation services, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring treatment outcomes, educating patients on skincare and post-treatment care, maintaining accurate medical records, coordinating with dermatologists and other specialists, and contributing to continuous improvement in clinical and aesthetic services.

Qualifications

• Valid medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and current license/eligibility to practice as a General Practitioner in the UAE or ability to obtain it.
• Experience in aesthetic medicine, including non-surgical cosmetic procedures (e.g., laser treatments, injectables, skin rejuvenation) and basic dermatological care.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to manage common medical and dermatology-related conditions safely and effectively.
• Excellent patient communication and counseling skills, with a focus on informed consent, realistic expectations, and culturally sensitive care.
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed electronic medical records and following clinic protocols, infection control, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to collaborate with dermatologists, nurses, and support staff in a multidisciplinary setting and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Continuous learning mindset with interest in new aesthetic technologies, evidence-based practices, and professional development courses in aesthetic medicine.
• Fluency in English
• Previous experience in private clinic or medical spa settings in the UAE or GCC region is preferred.
