Description

The Locum General Practitioner specializes in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology to provide high-quality, comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care. The role focuses on diagnosing, treating, and managing adult diseases, with a specific emphasis on gastrointestinal disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage diverse acute and chronic adult medical conditions.
  • Diagnose and treat complex gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
  • Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
  • Formulate evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications.
  • Refer patients to specialized consultants when clinically indicated.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Provide preventative health counseling and patient education.
Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

Skills: Strong clinical acumen, excellent communication, and fluency in English.

Education: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.

Experience: Proven experience working in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology clinics.

Licensure: Active DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter is mandatory.
