Functional Medicine Doctor

About the Role

We are seeking a Functional Medicine Doctor to join our expanding multidisciplinary clinic in Dubai. The ideal candidate will take a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on identifying root causes of chronic conditions and creating personalized treatment plans that combine medical expertise with nutrition, lifestyle, and integrative therapies.

Success in this role means working closely with a diverse team of osteopaths, physiotherapists, dentists, psychologists, and other health professionals to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. This position is key to our transition into a polyclinic model where functional medicine plays a central role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth consultations, reviewing medical history, lifestyle, and nutrition.
• Order and interpret laboratory and imaging tests, with a focus on root-cause assessment.
• Develop tailored treatment plans, including nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle changes, and medication when necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated patient care.
• Educate patients on prevention and self-care.
• Maintain accurate records in line with DHA standards.
• Contribute to clinical meetings and protocol development.
• Stay up to date with advances in functional and integrative medicine.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with specialization in Functional Medicine, Integrative Medicine, or related field.
• DHA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Minimum 3 years of clinical practice with a functional/integrative approach.
• Additional certifications in nutrition, clinical supplementation, or complementary therapies are an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
• Team-oriented mindset and openness to interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Fluency in English (German or Arabic is a plus).
