Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Female Radiographer with a specialized focus on cross section and mammograph experience to join our dynamic Radiology Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain cross section and mammograph experience.
  • Accurately position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and patient comfort.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as required, adhering to strict safety protocols and monitoring for adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records, including imaging logs and procedural documentation.
  • Adhere to all radiation safety regulations and departmental protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
  • Perform routine quality control checks on equipment and promptly report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiography techniques and technology, particularly in CT-guided and C-Arm applications.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of procedures to patients, addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive patient experience.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development initiatives.
  • Ensure a sterile and organized work environment, strictly adhering to infection control policies.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Radiography/Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.

Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Radiographer, with demonstrated expertise in CT-guided epidural procedures and C-Arm operations.

Valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license or eligibility letter is mandatory.

Proficiency in operating various CT scanner models and C-Arm equipment.

In-depth knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices.

Excellent anatomical and physiological knowledge relevant to diagnostic imaging.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.

Ability to work independently and and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
