Emergency Medicine Senior Registrar
The Senior Registrar in Emergency Medicine is responsible for providing high-quality emergency care to patients, supervising junior medical staff, and supporting the consultant team in ensuring safe and efficient clinical practice within the emergency department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Â Â Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting to the emergency department.
- Perform emergency procedures in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Supervise, guide, and support registrars, residents, and interns.
- Participate in clinical teaching and training of medical and nursing staff.
- Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency care policies and protocols.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement, audits, and morbidity & mortality reviews.
- Provide leadership in critical and high-pressure situations.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
Board certified in Emergency Medicine.
 V ​SCFHS license as senior registrar
 Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency medicine as senior registrar.
 Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Transferable Iqama
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
