Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assessing patients’ skin diseases, conditions, and ailments to determine the appropriate treatment.

• Supports inpatient and outpatient services at a general dermatology practice.

• Prescribing medication and creating treatment plans, referring patients to other departments where necessary.

• Recommend diagnostic tests based on patients’ histories and physical examination findings.

• Monitoring patient progress.

• Counsels patients on topics such as the need for annual dermatologic screenings, sun protection, skin cancer awareness, or skin and lymph node self-examinations.

• Maintains historical records by documenting symptoms, medications, and treatment procedures and summaries
