Consultant Plastic Surgeon – Cosmetic Surgery & Burns

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Discover Medics is recruiting an experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeon with expertise in both cosmetic surgery and burns management for a leading healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will provide consultant-level care across cosmetic, reconstructive and burns surgery. The role will include managing patients with acute and complex burns, performing reconstructive procedures and delivering a range of aesthetic surgical treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients requiring cosmetic, reconstructive or burns surgery
• Perform cosmetic procedures, including facial, breast and body-contouring surgery
• Manage acute and complex burns, including debridement, skin grafting and reconstructive surgery
• Develop individualised surgical and postoperative treatment plans
• Lead and support multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Supervise and train junior medical staff
• Contribute to clinical governance, patient safety and departmental development

Requirements

• Medical degree and recognised specialist training in Plastic Surgery
• Board certification or equivalent, such as CCT, CCST or a recognised European qualification
• Current practice at Consultant level or an equivalent senior position
• Substantial experience in both cosmetic surgery and burns management
• Expertise in aesthetic, reconstructive and advanced skin-grafting procedures
• Fellowship training in Plastic Surgery is desirable
• Eligibility for registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
• Excellent surgical, communication and leadership skills
