Role Description The Pharmacist will work on-site in Egypt in a full-time capacity, providing direct patient care and pharmaceutical services. Day-to-day responsibilities include dispensing medications accurately, reviewing prescriptions for potential interactions, and counseling patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage. The role involves maintaining up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages or expirations. The Pharmacist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, contribute to medication safety initiatives, and support the overall efficiency and quality of service at El Khabiry Pharmacy.
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in Egypt with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic uses of medications.
- Ability to provide clear, empathetic patient counseling and education on medication use and health advice.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing, prescription review, documentation, and record keeping.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and adherence to local health and pharmacy regulations.
- Good communication skills in Arabic, with basic English proficiency considered an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support flexible shifts.
- Previous community pharmacy experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn and develop professionally is essential.
