Job Description

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Coding, Health Information Management, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field.
• Relevant medical coding certification such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in medical coding, preferably in a supervisory or team-lead role.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, medical terminology, and coding guidelines.
• Experience reviewing coded medical records, conducting coding audits, and ensuring coding accuracy.
• Ability to supervise coding teams, monitor productivity, and maintain quality standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare documentation, compliance requirements, and revenue cycle management.
• Ability to provide guidance and training to coding staff and implement process improvements.
