Category Lead, CAPEX & OPEX Procurement
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category strategies for CAPEX & OPEX
- Lead end-to-end sourcing (RFP/RFQ, negotiation, contracting)
- Manage capital equipment and project procurement
- Oversee indirect categories (IT, FM, professional services, MRO, etc.)
- Drive cost savings, value creation, and supplier performance
- Partner closely with Finance, Engineering, and Operations
- drive cost optimization, manage supplier relationships, and ensure commercial excellence across capital projects and operational spend.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintain documentation and audit readiness.
- Promote ethical sourcing and sustainability practices.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Business Units.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
Job Requirements
- BSc. in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
Strong stakeholder management and analytical capability
Experience: From 7:9 years in Procurement / Category Management
Strong CAPEX & OPEX sourcing experience
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills, multi-tasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven negotiation and contract management skills
