Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures such as:
  • Electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG)
  • Holter monitoring
  • Treadmill stress testing
  • Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM)
  • Ankle-brachial index (ABI)
  • Vascular ultrasounds (if trained)
  • Echocardiogram
  • Stress test
  • VO2 Max
  • Remote data/monitoring
  • Prepare patients for tests, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and endocrinologists to support patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely reporting of test results.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly, regularly maintained, and calibrated.
  • Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines in all procedures.
  • Assist in triaging patients for cardiac evaluations as part of the diabetes risk assessment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Stay current with developments in cardiovascular diagnostics and diabetes-related cardiac care

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
  • DHA license or eligibility as a Cardiovascular Technician in Dubai (or relevant authority).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Experience working with patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and non-invasive testing protocols.
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and patient-centered environment
