Inventory Controller (Cardiac/Orthopedic/Spine Background)
AMMT is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller specializing in Cardiac, Orthopedic, and Spine Medical Devices, Implants, and Instruments to oversee and optimize medical device inventory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring inventory accuracy, preparing reports, and coordinating with internal teams to support efficient supply chain operations and product availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage medical devices and medical item inventory within the warehouse.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet business requirements.
- Manage inventory control of consignment stock and ensure proper tracking.
- Conduct timely stock reconciliation and physical inventory counts.
- Ensure medical items are stored, organized, and handled according to safety and company standards.
- Place orders for replacement parts, materials, and supplies as required.
- Ensure timely processing of orders and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through Oracle NetSuite and inventory management tools.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory status, consumption trends, and future material requirements.
- Coordinate with finance, sales, operations, procurement, customer support, and service teams to ensure smooth inventory processes.
- Respond to inventory availability and order-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support continuous improvement of inventory processes and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Medical, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–4 years of UAE experience in inventory control within the healthcare sector.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with inventory management systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in stock management and reporting.
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written); Arabic will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple departments.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling Cardiac, Orthopedic, and Spine Medical Devices, Implants, and Instruments.
- Knowledge of healthcare inventory practices and warehouse management processes.
- Hands-on experience in managing inventory operations using Oracle NetSuite.
