Role Description The Branch Manager (Pharmacist) is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, responsible for overseeing daily operations of the pharmacy branch. This includes supervising pharmacy staff, organizing work schedules, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves dispensing medications accurately, providing patient counseling, and ensuring safe and ethical pharmaceutical practices. The Branch Manager monitors inventory levels, manages orders, and maintains proper storage conditions to prevent shortages or wastage. Additional responsibilities include optimizing customer service, handling escalated issues, maintaining cleanliness and order in the branch, and preparing basic operational reports to support performance targets.
Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop pharmacy staff.
  • Customer service and communication skills to provide clear counseling, handle inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
  • Organizational and time-management skills for scheduling, workflow coordination, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Inventory and operations management skills, including stock control, ordering, and compliance with storage and safety standards.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address operational challenges and support continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a valid pharmacist license in Egypt.
  • Previous experience as a pharmacist; branch or team management experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations, quality standards, and ethical practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy software and basic computer applications.
