Role Description The Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a pharmacy branch. This includes managing staff schedules and performance, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, monitoring inventory and stock levels, and maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies. The role involves supervising customer service to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience, handling escalated client issues, and coordinating with central management on promotions, pricing, and branch targets. The Branch Manager will also track branch performance metrics, implement process improvements, and support training and development activities to maintain high professional standards within the team.
Qualifications
- Operations and management skills, including branch supervision, workflow optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Pharmacy and healthcare knowledge, such as understanding of medications, regulatory requirements, and safe dispensing practices.
- Customer service and communication skills, including conflict resolution and the ability to provide clear, empathetic guidance to clients.
- People management and leadership abilities, including team motivation, coaching, and supporting professional development.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and address operational challenges effectively.
- Basic financial and reporting skills, including familiarity with sales targets, budgeting, and inventory cost control.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and pharmacy management software, and comfort with using digital tools and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field, valid professional licensure (where applicable), and prior experience in retail pharmacy or healthcare management.
