Job Description

Repairs, calibrates, and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation used in health care delivery field.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participates in implementing the anticipated plans and programs as per the set goals to ensure internal work development and productivity increase.
• Participates in the development of the Bio Medical unit’s work plan.
• Suggests plans and programs that strive to improve the effectiveness of the Bio Medical unit and ensure conformance to policies and procedures.
• Inspects and installs medical and related technical equipment in medical and research facilities.
• Repairs, calibrates, and maintains equipment.
• Safety tests medical equipment and health care facility’s structural environment to ensure patient and staff safety from electrical or mechanical hazards.
• Consults with medical or research staff to ascertain that equipment functions properly and safely.
• Demonstrates and explains correct operation of equipment to medical personnel.
• Works as a service technician for equipment manufacturers or their sales representatives.
• Performs other duties related to the job as assigned by the Regional Manager.

Required Educational Level:

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.

Required Experience:

Fresh graduated or Experience in field

Professional Knowledge:

Good theoretical and practical knowledge of engineering.

Special Requirements:

Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
