Vilma Tomy – Certified Professional Coder | MSc Chemistry | BSc Chemistry, Botany, Zoology

I am a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from Kannur, Kerala, INDIA with a strong academic foundation in life sciences and a growing passion for healthcare analytics and medical coding. I completed my medical coding training at Cardea Healthcare Solutions, an AAPC-approved institute, and earned a 96% score on the CPC exam.

With a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Bishop Kurialacherry College for Women, Kottayam (Mahatma Gandhi University), and a BSc in Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from Teresian College, Mysuru (University of Mysore), I bring a scientific mindset and analytical approach to coding tasks.

I am proficient in ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems  and I take pride in my ability to quickly learn new concepts, communicate effectively  and maintain high levels of accuracy and quality in my work. My career goal is to advance into roles such as Quality Analyst or Team Lead within the next few years.

Beyond work, I enjoy a range of creative and recreational activities including cooking, badminton, singing, crafting, gardening and travelling—pursuits that keep me energized and inspired.
