Work & Experience

I
Intern Biomedical Service Engineer Sep 2024 - Oct 2024
Cassab Melki Supplies and Service (CMM)

I assisted in the inspection and calibration of GE ventilators and anesthetic machines, as well as in calibrating non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) bedside monitors. Additionally, I contributed to setting up and connecting the main nurse station network in the ICU at the Military Hospital, ensuring that all patient room monitors were properly linked to the central system. I also supported the installation of an EEG station at Hôtel-Dieu de France, overseeing the setup of the EEG amplifier, monitor, and camera, and inspecting the patient room to ensure proper configuration and functionality.

I
Intern Biomedical Service Engineer Aug 2024 - Sep 2024
Time International

I worked with the service team on both corrective and preventive maintenance of medical imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines, fluoroscopy systems, computed radiography units, and X-ray printers. During this time, I gained hands-on experience and knowledge of imaging devices such as Samsung Ultrasound and Fujifilm Fluoroscopy. I also assisted in troubleshooting and repairing minor issues in ultrasound machines under the supervision of senior technicians.

I
Intern Biomedical equipment technician Aug 2023 - Sep 2023
Clemenceau Medical Center (CMC)

I worked alongside a biomedical equipment technician to perform maintenance and calibration on a wide range of medical equipment across various departments, including the Operating Room (OR). This experience allowed me to develop a solid understanding of industry-standard procedures and protocols related to equipment safety and performance. I gained hands-on experience with therapeutic devices such as syringe and infusion pumps, and assisted biomedical service engineers in maintaining and calibrating advanced medical equipment, including the MAQUET Flow-i anesthesia machine, Philips monitors, and the GreenLight XPS™ Laser Therapy System by Boston Scientific used for prostatic laser treatment. Additionally, I collaborated with the engineering team to ensure all activities were in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
