As a Biomedical Engineer, I was responsible for the installation, calibration, and maintenance of a wide range of medical equipment, including patient monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and diagnostic devices. I performed both preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment safety, accuracy, and compliance with healthcare standards. I diagnosed technical faults and carried out timely repairs to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted clinical operations. I also contributed to the design, assembly, and testing of medical devices in accordance with ISO 13485 quality management standards. In addition, I collaborated closely with clinical staff to provide technical support and user training on the safe and effective use of equipment. I maintained detailed service reports, calibration records, and documentation to meet audit and regulatory requirements. Furthermore, I supported procurement processes by evaluating equipment specifications and liaised with vendors and service providers for maintenance, spare parts, and upgrades, while ensuring adherence to hospital safety policies and quality assurance procedures.
