Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Dialysis Technology from PPG Institute of Allied Health Science, affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, completed in June 2023. The program provided academic and clinical knowledge in hemodialysis, renal patient care, dialysis equipment operation, vascular access management, infection prevention, and patient safety.
Work & Experience
Provided hemodialysis treatment to approximately 50 ESRD patients daily across 25 dialysis machines. Performed pre-dialysis assessments, vascular access evaluation, patient monitoring, and management of intradialytic complications. Operated Fresenius, Nipro, and Baxter Aurora dialysis systems and provided dialysis support to ICU and critically ill patients. Maintained RO water treatment systems, followed infection prevention and control protocols, ensured accurate clinical documentation, and educated patients on vascular access care and post-dialysis precautions.
Provided hemodialysis treatment to patients with chronic kidney disease in accordance with prescribed clinical protocols. Conducted pre- and post-dialysis assessments, monitored patients during treatment, and identified early signs of complications. Operated and maintained dialysis machines and RO water treatment systems, performed routine safety checks and disinfection, evaluated vascular access, reviewed fluid balance, and coordinated dialysis scheduling for approximately 50–80 patients per week.
