Work & Experience
During my tenure as Production Supervisor for the Tablet Section at San Marino Laboratories Corp., I oversaw end-to-end manufacturing processes including, compounding, granulation, drying, compression, in-process quality control checks, coating, refining, blister packaging, and final product packaging. I successfully managed a team of plant employees under my section, each of whom fulfills a critical function in the production process. I was able to have worked closely with production operators, quality teams, and engineering personnel to ensure that every batch met FDA standards and company specifications. My role required a strong command of documentation practices, deviation and incident reporting, line clearance, and strict adherence to GMP and safety protocols. A major part of my work involved troubleshooting tablet defects—an area I enhanced through specialized training in tableting and compression tools. I also contributed to improving workflow efficiency by identifying process gaps, refining SOPs, and supporting training initiatives for new staff. These experiences allowed me to develop strong analytical skills, adaptability in fast-paced environments, and the ability to lead teams toward consistent, high-quality output.
I fulfilled the role of a community pharmacist and manager during my stay in the company. My role focused on dispensing medication to outpatients, patient counseling, purchasing, inventory, and training newly hired pharmacy assistants regarding the standard operating procedure of the company in compliance with the Food and Drug Administration and other regulating bodies.
