About Candidate
My name is Fakhrul Islam, and I am writing to express my sincere interest in the nursing position at your respected facility. With more than a decade of hands-on experience in emergency care, humanitarian work, and patient-centered nursing, I bring not only clinical skills—but also compassion, resilience, and a strong commitment to service.
I began my career as an emergency nurse and later had the privilege of working with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) for five years. This experience shaped me both personally and professionally. It taught me how to deliver safe, high-quality care in difficult and resource-limited environments, remain calm under pressure, and treat every patient with dignity, no matter their circumstances. These years of humanitarian work strengthened my communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
After returning home, I continued to grow in my profession at Shifa International Hospital, where I currently work as an Emergency Nurse. My daily responsibilities include triage, trauma care, medication administration, patient assessment, and emergency procedures. I also play a supportive leadership role in guiding junior staff and ensuring adherence to safety and infection-control protocols.
I believe nursing is not just a profession—it is a service to humanity. I approach every patient with empathy, respect, and a deep sense of responsibility. My certifications in ACLS, BLS, BTLS, ECG, Disaster Management, and continuous professional development have helped me maintain strong clinical competence and preparedness for any situation.
I would be honored to bring my experience, dedication, and compassionate approach to your team. Thank you for considering my application. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your organization.
Warm regards,
Fakhrul Islam

Through theoretical learning and practical application, I strengthened my ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate complex patient care needs across diverse healthcare settings. The program also emphasized ethical decision-making, quality improvement, and patient safety standards, preparing me to take on leadership roles, mentor junior nurses, and contribute to healthcare policy and education. This qualification built upon my foundational nursing diploma, aligning my skills with global nursing standards.
Diploma in Emergency Disaster and Management (Alliad Institute of Nursing, 2020) This one-year diploma specialized in preparing nurses to respond effectively to emergencies, mass casualties, and disaster situations. The program emphasized rapid assessment, triage protocols, crisis intervention, and coordination with multidisciplinary response teams. It covered emergency planning, disaster preparedness, trauma management, and life-saving interventions in both pre-hospital and hospital settings. Through simulation-based training and real-world scenarios, I gained expertise in managing critical incidents, stabilizing patients under pressure, and prioritizing care in resource-limited environments. The course strengthened my leadership in high-stress situations and enhanced my ability to ensure safety and continuity of care during large-scale emergencies.

Clinical rotations in diverse hospital departments allowed me to develop strong patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and health education skills. The curriculum emphasized ethical practice, infection control, and evidence-based care. This qualification established my competence in delivering safe, holistic, and patient-centered care across various healthcare settings, forming the basis for my advanced studies and specialized training.
