Duties and responsibility in Anaesthesia phase

1. Assist anesthetics during the procedure in the operation theatre and intensive Care unit.

2. Preparing the anaesthesia workstation and required monitor for anaesthesia.

3. Keep the anaesthesia drugs and equipments ready for the procedure.

4. Understanding the anaesthetic requirements of different surgical procedures and management of crisis.

5. Checking the functionality of gas delivery system and ensure safe administration of anaesthetic gases.

6. Cleaning and maintaining of equipment used for anaesthesia and sterilizing it for next case usage.

7. Ensuring availability of anaesthesia drugs and another consumable used for anaesthesia procedure.

8. Periodic maintenance of anaesthesia ventilator, monitor and other equipments used in operation theatre

9. Ensuring safe disposable needles and biomedical waste management.

10. Assisting the anesthesiologist in radiology suite during MRI and interventional procedure.
