• Perform and analyze laboratory testing across Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology and Serology, Blood Station, Clinical Microscopy and Parasitology, and Histopathology. • Perform microbiological techniques including Gram staining, KOH staining, and culture and sensitivity testing. • Perform phlebotomy for newborn, pediatric, adult, geriatric, and critically ill patients; collect and process laboratory specimens. • Perform blood station procedures including blood unit compatibility testing using gel technology and/or manual methods, forward and reverse blood typing, incompatibility workup, and Direct and Indirect Antiglobulin Tests. • Perform routine quality control and calibration of semi- and fully automated laboratory analyzers; troubleshoot equipment errors. • Review alarming results for repeat testing and referral to the pathologist before release of official results. • Operate laboratory information systems including BizBox Hospital Information System.
