Performing admission, discharge and transfer procedures of the patient. Provide direct patient care in medical and surgical units Give first aid, CPR and other emergency medical care as needed Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order, reporting any fault to Nurse Manager/Engineering. Monitor urine output, color, clarity, and report abnormalities Formulate nursing plans and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs on an ongoing basis. Prepare and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, intravenous) and record prescribed medications. Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with policy and nursing standards.
