Registered Nurse.CTVS OT

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during cardiothoracic and vascular procedures.
• Prepare the operating theatre, surgical instruments, and equipment before procedures.
• Maintain strict sterile techniques and infection control standards.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and support perioperative nursing care.
• Ensure the availability and proper functioning of surgical equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate surgical records and nursing documentation.
• Assist with patient preparation, transfer, and postoperative handover.
• Follow established surgical safety protocols and hospital policies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Recognized Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (GNM/BSc Nursing or equivalent).
• Valid nursing registration and professional license for the country of practice.
• Relevant experience in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery operating theatres is preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and perioperative nursing procedures.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure surgical environment.
