Job Description

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Patient Aides to join our Nursing team across Long-Term Care (LTC) and Pediatric services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must be able to complete all entries in the medical record within the timeframes and sequence as applicable to the chronological history and relevance of the information.
• Documents procedures and results of any radiologic studies, laboratory tests and the patient’s story through the physician’s interaction under their care.
• Support patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Assist nursing staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable patient environment.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families.
• Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control standards.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Requirement:

• Experience as a Patient Aide, Healthcare Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or similar role is required.
• Experience in LTC and Pediatric care is an advantage.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
