Role Description The District Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, responsible for leading and developing a sales team to achieve territory sales targets and market growth objectives. Daily responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and coaching team members to ensure effective coverage of assigned healthcare accounts. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, overseeing product promotion activities, and ensuring alignment with company policies and compliance standards. The District Sales Manager will also analyze market trends, provide regular sales forecasts and reports, collaborate with marketing and medical teams, and support the launch of new products within the district.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong sales and account management skills, including territory planning, customer relationship management, and achievement of sales targets.
- Candidates should possess team leadership and people management skills, such as coaching, performance evaluation, and motivating sales representatives.
- Candidates should possess analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to interpret sales data, track KPIs, and prepare clear, concise business reports.
- Candidates should possess communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present products effectively, handle objections, and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills, including prioritizing tasks, managing field activities, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business, or a related field; prior experience in pharmaceutical sales management or a similar role is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of the Egyptian pharmaceutical market, local healthcare ecosystem, and compliance requirements is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and CRM systems, along with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the district as needed.
